Service Call Process

  1. Service Call Request: The customer submits a request via email or phone with details of the required service.
  2. Quote Approval: Our team prepares a service quote based on the customer’s requirements and sends it for approval.
  3. Engineer Dispatch: Once the quote is approved, we dispatch our engineers to the vessel. The customer is notified of the estimated arrival time.
  4. Service Execution: Our engineers perform the requested service (installation, troubleshooting, upgrade, etc.) as per the agreed-upon terms. All required spare parts and tools are brought to the site.
  5. Completion and Reporting: Once the service is complete, a detailed service report is prepared, documenting the work done and any parts replaced or repaired.
  6. Invoice Generation: An invoice is generated based on the service provided, which includes all labor, parts, and additional costs (e.g., logistics). This is sent to the customer for payment processing.

General Service Terms and Conditions

The following outlines our service terms and conditions for maritime services, providing clarity and setting expectations for both parties:

  1. Service Requests and Quotes:
    • A service request must be submitted in writing via email or phone call, detailing the service required.
    • We will send a quote based on the requested service, outlining labor, materials, and estimated time for completion.
    • The quote must be approved by the customer before any work begins.
  2. Service Attendance:
    • Once the quote is approved, engineers will be dispatched to the vessel. The customer will be notified of the estimated time of arrival.
    • Services will be completed as per the agreed-upon specifications, and all required tools, spare parts, and equipment will be provided by us.
  3. Payment Terms:  
    • Payment for service attendance is due within 30 days from the date of service completion. 
    • Spare parts are provided only upon advance payment. 
    • In case of delay in payment, the company reserves the right to suspend services for future requests until outstanding payments are settled.
  4. Logistics and Ancillary Costs:
    • Service rates do not include logistics costs such as flight tickets, hotel accommodations, food, conveyance, boat charges, and agent handling fees.
    • These costs will be invoiced separately and must be paid by the customer.
  5. Warranty and Liabilities:
    • Warranties on repairs or upgrades are provided based on manufacturer guidelines and are valid for a limited period.
    • We are not responsible for any damages resulting from misuse, neglect, or failure to adhere to maintenance guidelines after the service is completed.
    • Any damage caused by external factors (e.g., weather, accidents, mishandling) will not be covered under warranty.
  6. Service Limitations:
    • Our service call attendance is subject to accessibility to the vessel and the safety of the environment.
    • In situations where access is restricted or unsafe, services may be delayed or rescheduled to other safer ports/areas.
  7. Customer Responsibilities:
    • The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access to the vessel and providing necessary permissions for our engineers to perform the required services.
    • The customer must ensure that the vessel is free from any hazardous conditions before our engineers arrive.
