They cover a select range of services, such as NAVCOM repairs or radio surveys, and are available for periods ranging from 1 to 5 years. Standard contracts are an affordable option for customers who want specific services without committing to a comprehensive package.

Service Contract Process

Service Request and Consultation

  • The customer submits an initial inquiry or request for a Periodic Service Contract.
  • Siera Marine consults with the customer to understand their specific service needs, vessel requirements, and the desired level of coverage.
  • We provide expert advice to help the customer decide between Comprehensive or Standard contract options, ensuring they choose the most suitable solution.

Service Contract Proposal

  • Based on the consultation, Siera Marine prepares a service contract proposal that outlines the scope of services, pricing, and the duration of the contract (from 1 to 5 years).
  • This proposal includes details on the services covered, any exclusions, and the jurisdiction of ports where the services will be provided (for comprehensive contracts).

Approval and Agreement

  • Once the customer reviews and approves the proposal, both parties sign the Service Contract Agreement, formalizing the terms and conditions.
  • For Comprehensive Contracts, an initial service schedule is created, outlining the regular maintenance and service checks that will be performed during the contract period.

Service Delivery and Execution

  • For Comprehensive Contracts, all covered services, including NAVCOM repairs, radio surveys, performance testing, and navigation audits, are carried out as per the timeline. For Standard Contracts, services are delivered based on the specific services chosen by the customer.

  • Priority Service is offered, ensuring that any service requirements are addressed promptly. Regular reports are generated to keep customers informed about the maintenance status and upcoming needs.

Renewal and Extension
